Enabling site visits during a pandemic

COVID-19 has clearly re-enforced the benefits of Reality Check virtual site tours for our clients and thanks to our innovative approach to data collection we have been able to onboard new client sites throughout the pandemic.

New tours have included multiple exploration and development targets and producing assets for capital raising and stakeholder engagement purposes. We have also supported asset divestment processes such as the recent sale of Bibiani in Ghana.

Geographically we have taken stakeholders from all over the world across multiple continents to view assets in places such as Western Australia, West Africa, South America and more.

Learn, Create and Upload with the Reality Check Training Portal.

Anglo American was the first company to choose the cost effectiveness and flexibility of self-produced tour content for their Minas Rio site in Brazil in 2019. Since then our Training Portal content has gone from strength to strength.

Today an individual in the space of a morning can learn how to operate our recommended camera platform, how to plan and how to complete their data gathering exercise, then upload it to the Reality Check cloud for final tour construction.

Even for the very largest sites, a period of no more than two to three days in the field should be needed, and most often can be achieved in less than a day.

Self-produced tours have low time investment, minimal site disruption and zero COVID risk with our support.
